How to clear device cache and data on Chromecast?
For Chromecast, follow the steps on your Android or iOS streaming device.
To clear data and cache for Chromecast built-in apps, follow these steps:
- From the home screen, select Settings.
- Select Applications.
- Select Chromecast built-in.
- Select Clear data.
- Select Accept.
- Select Clear cache.
- Select Accept.
- Restart the TV.
To restart it, press and hold the green power button on the remote for more than five seconds.
Release the button when the TV screen turns black.
